With nearly 25 years’ experience working in education, Eric Ashley Buries is employed as special education director by the Encore Educational Corporation, based in Hesperia, California. Eric Buries’ previous role was as a special education coordinator at the San Bernardino City Unified School District in San Bernardino, California. Prior to that, he worked as an educational specialist and school psychologist for a number of California school districts.
In his current role, Eric Buries is responsible for supervising special education programs and services, evaluating special education staff, ensuring compliance with federal laws pertaining to special education, and coordinating services with outside agencies. He has completed two master’s degrees, an MA in educational administration and special education from California State University, Los Angeles, and an MA in school psychology from Azusa Pacific University.
