My experiences are quite varied but they are tied together with a single common thread -- I am just not sure what that thread is quite yet. Regardless, no matter if the task has involved a charitable endeavor such as running a blood drive or was professionally inspired like securing new clients to increase the bottom line I always put my best foot forward.
Apparently I am also a pretty swell fellow that inspires others because somehow I always reach positions of leadership.
- In high school I was class president and made the Who's Who List of American High School Students.
- While attending college I made the Dean's list multiple times and also the President's list.
- During my four years of college I was secretary and vice president of the Financial Management Association, a member of the Business President's Roundtable, was Chairman of Credit for the award winning Kent State Student Credit Union and was on a committee in charge of interviewing and hiring the business school's president.
- Received the Kent State Leadership Excellence Award.
- Since college I have started two successful businesses.
- I made it to the summit of Pike's Peak.
- Navigated the waters of the industrial supply game with an industry leader.
- Ran a U.S. presidential campaign at the county level.
- Helped produce a video that raised over 4000 dollars for autism awareness.
- Wrote a children's book that teaches the importance of giving.
- Helped reverse a major corporation's stance on a controversial subject.
- Interviewed with national publications.
- Have interviewed luminaries and other movers and shakers.
- Operated social media for a site that started with zero followers and now has a combined 18000.
- Handled daily operations for a site that has drawn over 3.5 million page views.
- I always try to find time to run 4 to 5 miles daily.
- Operate a creative firm, www.wildmagnoliacreative.com
- And I look pretty darned cool in shades.
