Eric Hathaway

Eric is a New Zealander currently in Glasgow, Scotland. Previously in New York City he writes a blog, takes photographs and records interviews for podcasts around the general title of "Sometime in Long Island City". This will change with the move to Scotland. His "Artist Portrait" format was developed in New Zealand and expands the traditional biographical radio interview to a show which includes music from the artist's life, both their own music and that of others who have been important steps in their musical development. Eric created the World Music Radio Show "EarthSouNZ" in New Zealand and is well known on the world music scene and at "WOMAD" festivals in New Zealand and the UK. In New York he concentrated on the local music scene in Long Island City and participated in the promotion and celebration of a very talented group of emerging artists.
