Eric Singleton
Eric Singleton is a technologist, entrepreneur, and agent of change. He has a lifetime of technology leadership and experience in a variety of industries. He offers a unique blend of executive acumen, global information architecture, and compelling business insight.
Eric is the former Chief Information Officer for Tommy Hilfiger Corporation where he held worldwide responsibility for the company’s Information Technology division. Before joining Tommy Hilfiger, he was with Raytheon Company where he started and led the worldwide E-Commerce business, Vice President and Chief Information Officer for divisions of Honeywell Aerospace and Honeywell Automotive (formerly AlliedSignal), and Chief Information Officer for Columbia Energy. After Tommy Hilfiger was sold to Apax Partners in 2006, Eric launched AltairStar whose client list has included Microsoft, AOL, Airstream, Zales, Robert Marc, J Jill, Intermix, Peter Max Studios, and many others.
Eric is passionate about the online world in all of its forms, and was fortunate enough to be an early participant in its evolution as a commerce and social medium. He drives this evolution with a vengeance, and continues to create compelling digital technology strategies for the world’s top companies, often leading and participating in their implementation.
Eric holds a variety of software copyrights in expert systems, artificial intelligence, and scalable architectures. He continues to support various educational programs by contributing expert system software he has engineered for this purpose and has been the author of many articles that have been published in ComputerWorld, The N.Y. Times and The Wall Street Journal among others.
