Eric Teague, an international accounting executive and venture capitalist turned entrepreneur, is the president and co-creator of i2, a consulting firm based in Raleigh, N.C. In 2012, Eric partnered with Willy Stewart, president and CEO of Stewart Engineering, to launch i2. Taking its name from "Integrated Intelligence," i2 equips CEOs and senior management teams in a variety of industries with the necessary tools to optimize efficiency and growth while remaining focused on a company's purpose and its people.
Since 2001, Eric has co-created seven companies, focusing on technology, professional services and real estate. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from NC State University, where he also studied economics and German. A licensed CPA, Eric began his career in 1993 as an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). His entrepreneurial spirit and natural leadership capabilities, led him to serve as a director in global capital markets and transaction services, where he gained experience advising major U.S corporations and private equity firms on transaction structures and complex accounting matters.
Eric co-founded and served as the managing partner for TeagueRossCapital (TRC), a private equity firm specializing in turnarounds and distressed asset investments, in 2001. In 2004, while with TRC, Eric co-founded Wavelength Corporation, a firm specializing in designing and servicing broadband Internet and video solutions for the multifamily housing market. While still leading and growing Wavelength Corporation in 2006, Eric cofounded Litchfield Residential, where he acquired, developed and sold more than $30 million of residential real estate on the South Carolina coast until 2009.
After the sale of Wavelength Corporation to Pavlov Media in 2010, Eric served as Pavlov's chief business development officer and executive vice president.
With his work, Eric has spent tours in New York City, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Germany, Amsterdam, Netherlands and Glasgow, Scotland, and managed more than 30 initial public offerings and mergers. Since relocating to North Carolina, he has played a key role in the urban development of downtown Greenville and worked closely with East Carolina University to promote the integration of university research in the private sector.
