Imagine a world in which every environment is home. Think about every face being familiar, smiling at you in the sweetest tones. Can you see it? This place holds the dearest friends and family waiting for the opportunity to spend time with you. Can you feel it? The warm, salty breeze gently caressing your face as the sun drops just behind the horizon. A holistically natural and peaceful environment envelops you; an environment in which nothing can go wrong.
Described above is the sensation that overwhelms me when I visit this place. It allows me to harken back to a time in my life where everything was good and no wrong could be done. Granted, I was young and knew not the travesties of life. However, I had no care in growing up or becoming a man or taking on responsibility. Instead, I focused on how much fun will I have on any given day, and whether or not my grandparents would let me play all day. The fact is, these worries are not real worries, but they were very real to me at the time.
I now realize how precious those moments were. I seek to live in those times again and conduct myself accordingly. Maybe after a job and a house and a wife and a few kids, I can find the childlike wonder that brought me that former peace and share it with those who matter most.
