Who is Erica Hawkins?

I am a young woman yet finding myself and my purpose in life. I have dreams to change the world. How I don't know just yet. I do know that I hope to begin that change by teaching young African American kids that poverty, the lack of resources, and their background does not define their destiny.

I am currently double majoring in History with a concentration in African American Studies and Mass Communications major with a concentration in Broadcasting Media at North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina. I own my own business called EZ On The Eyes. The company is a eyewear company.

So I guess I am just an all around entrepreneur. I have big ideas and big dreams, right now I am just trying to make them visions. #DreamsToVisions

I also plan to further my education at to earn my Ph.D in African American Studies and to use my knowledge to educate the public via documentarie, radio and television, utilizing my degree in Mass Communicatons.
