Erica Ali

I am a student intern in York University's International Internship program, in a partnership with the Canadian Urban Institute (CUI) and the Manchester Parish Development Committee (MPDC) in Manchester, Jamaica. In this role, I participated in ground level action planning and contributed to workshops, reports, and initiatives around community managed eco-tourism on the South coast, as a means of achieving the Local Sustainable Development Plan's mandate of sustainable development (following the tenets of Local Agenda 21 and recognizing the United Nations' Millennium Development Goal).
