Grossi

Graduated in Contemporary History (University of Pisa – EPHE, Paris) with a thesis on the iconography of violence in the French illustrated press between 1890 and 1910. The PhD in European Cultural Studies focuses on the European photographic archives of the Great War in comparison with the visual production (arts and cinema) between 1910 and 1930, paying special attention on the fragmentation of world perception, on the eyewitness and (post)memory construction as montage of 20th Century History.
