Erica Lüttich
Erica Lüttich has been involved initiated and developed creative and social projects for the last fifteen years. She has offered skills transfer, counseling and creative development to participants in the poverty-stricken areas of the inner city, Sharpeville, Soweto and Diepsloot. The area, which she has chosen to work in, is both at times dangerous and heart breaking destitute but Erica has provided a ‘safe’ space for predominately though not entirely female groups of the inner city’s inhabitants. These creative interventions has offered participants self worth development, creative journeys and income generating opportunities. Erica has performed her actions with responsibility but also with great empathy and over-all kindness to hear the voices of the marginilised people on the community. She has participated in numerous projects to uplift the community, not only to enhance to surrounding areas in public spaces, but also the individual’s self-respect and integrity. Erica’s work is essential in building a community of creative, educated and caring individuals and communities with respect and hope.
