Eric Andrist

After working almost 20 years in theatrical production, I gave it all up to care full time for my disabled sister, Cali, which I did for 9 years. Unfotunately, she died from medical negligence in 2012.

Now I'm volunteering as a patient safety advocate to help change the egregious MICRA law in California that limits pain and suffering damages in medical malpractice cases to $250,000. It was instituted in 1975 and has never been raised with inflation.

I also have my own home-based and mobile business, working as a notary public and Livescan fingerprinter (amongst other things).
