Erica Olvera

Hi, my name is Erica. People say I have a caring, yet intense personality. Providing so much love and attention into my food always keeps me focused. Cooking for my family is something i’ve been doing for ten years of my life. Coming from a tough background has taught me to be resilient as a person. Cooking for my sister means I always had a critic. She has definitely got me to try different things with my food. Painting is a hobby of mine and it helps me be more creative. Cooking and seeing people enjoy my food makes me feel accomplished. Living with a diverse family has taught me different cultures and their food. My grandma is Filipino, so I grew up on lumpia and chicken adobo. Expanding my knowledge of ethnic food and trying, then for myself is a life goal of mine.
