Eric Gordon

Eric Gordon is an associate professor in the department of Visual and Media Arts at Emerson College where his research focuses on location-based media, technology and community, and serious games. He is the director of the Engagement Game Lab (http://engagementgamelab.org) where he oversees the design and development of game and social media platforms for local community engagement. He is the co-author (with Adriana de Souza e Silva) of Net Locality: Why Location Matters in a Networked World (Blackwell, 2011) and the author of The Urban Spectator: American Concept-cities From Kodak to Google (Dartmouth, 2010).
