I'm 28. I live in California. I've worked in mortgage investment funds since graduating with a bachelors degree in business and economics from a top liberal arts college. I'm entrepreneurial, but patient, qualitative while still excelling in quantitaive arenas. I'm inquisitive and creative, but can still follow recipes.

I love food, hiking, wine, snowboarding and coffee. I love when people talk about something they really love - be that welding or regression analysis or glass sponges or secondary trading. People just seem to come alive when they're talking about something they love.

I love learning about why people make decisions, how incentives affect decisions and about how to optimize processes that involve those people. I'm pursuing a career in investment management and I'm drawn to firms that delve into very illiquid, frontier spaces, that try out new ideas and create new markets and opportunities in places that other people ignored.
