Eric DeMarcus

As a managing director with Silicon Valley Private Wealth in Los Gatos, California, Eric DeMarcus develops wealth management solutions for high-net-worth clients. He comes to his work with more than a decade of related experience, having entered the financial services industry as a planner with American Express in 2004. There, Eric DeMarcus leveraged high-level technological resources to create integrated financial, insurance, and estate plans for wealthy clients.

In 2007, Eric DeMarcus left American Express and became a wealth management advisor and portfolio and planning specialist for Morgan Stanley. Deepening his experience in investment selection and asset management, he developed particular expertise in options hedging and fixed-income trading. He then went on to apply this knowledge as a private wealth manager, portfolio investment officer, and initial-public-offering coordinator for Merrill Lynch’s Private Wealth Management division.

Since accepting his current position in the fall of 2016, Eric DeMarcus has focused on developing individualized strategies that incorporate a diverse array of resources. He balances his professional responsibilities with service to the community as a board member of the Austen Everett Foundation, which supports children with cancer.
