I have a strong affinity for creating fulfilling work environments, developing new approaches to look at stagnant business models, and forecasting trends in the hospitality and casino industries. I believe in providing an honest, transparent, and caring work environment that not only enriches its team, but also enriches the community in which we reside.
I have focused my 10+ years of expertise on anticipating marketing trends, making key financial decisions, aiding companies in implementing necessary competitive changes, and handling crisis situations with finesse and discretionary authority. Executive partners and colleagues see me as a passionate, energetic, and collaborative manager who leads by example and empowers employees to produce greater results. Previously, I served as the VP of Operations and General Manager for Wendover Resorts, which is the parent company for the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino, Red Garter Hotel and Casino, Utah Trailways, a Starbucks franchise, and a Beans and Brews franchise.
Additionally, I am deeply devoted to the mission of combating cancer and finding new cures for it through detailed research. This passion developed from seeing close family members succumb to the disease in recent years. I serve on the BOD for the Ensign Cancer Research Foundation as Secretary, Director of Marketing and Development, and Portfolio Manager.
