I invest in later stage consumer tech companies.

I've led venture and growth deals for The Walt Disney Company and Live Nation Entertainment.

Before that, I founded Big Data analytics company BigChampagne. BigChampagne was acquired by Live Nation (LYV) in 2011. I spun up Live Nation's internal innovation group, leading web and mobile strategy and technology product development, Live Nation's internal content agency and Live Nation Studios. I also established the company’s early stage strategic investment fund.

I began my career in management consulting. My earliest work in entertainment and technology was focused on developing online music products with MP3.com and Napster, among many others.

WIRED Magazine: BigChampagne created the “Nielsen ratings” of online music.

Forbes “40 Under 40” issue (2010).

Fast Company's "World's Most Innovative Companies" (2011).

I partnered with Radiohead on “In Rainbows, On Torrents,” a critical examination of the band’s pay-what-you-wish album experiment.

I contributed to Chris Anderson’s best-selling book, The Long Tail. Some of my music business stories are included in Steve Knopper’s history, Appetite for Self-Destruction: The Spectacular Crash of the Record Industry in the Digital Age.

I'm a frequent guest lecturer in the areas of media and technology. I advise a wide variety of young companies and non-profits.

Advisory board memberships include Fender Digital, the Entrepreneurship program at USC's Annenberg School and the digital initiative of the Recording Academy (The Grammys), where I've served alongside artists Common and Kanye West. I was formally recognized as an Outstanding Contributor to the Recording Academy in 2007.
