Winemaker Eric Hice has been in the wine industry for 19 years in production winemaking. A third generation winemaker that has a passion for his trade, fine wine and good food. Eric Hice has a Master of Science degree in Food Science, is a former chef that has owned four popular restaurants. Eric Hice is an accomplished and a multi award winning winemaker that believes in a carefull balance of old fashoned hand craftsmanship and modern science. Eric Hice believes carefull attention must always be paid to nature "its the subtle changes in nature that seem to make the most impact". Eric Hice believes that the wine is made in the vineyard and you need to start with good quality grapes to make a good quality wine. Therefore Eric Hice has spent most of his adult life working to understand the vines that are responsible for wine greatness!
