Erich Merkner
Real Estate Broker at Coldwell Banker in Valparaiso, Indiana
After a successful career as a construction specialist, Erich Merkner decided to pursue a career in real estate. He worked for Walsh Construction, one of the largest and most well-known contractors and design-build firms in the United States. Erich worked as a carpenter, surveyor, and property developer for the company. He started his career as a junior carpenter and swiftly advanced through the ranks, becoming a general foreman and then a supervisor. His participation in the Cline bridge project was brought to his notice by Midstate Concrete, who contacted him about it. He obtained his broker's license in Indiana and Michigan and started Prestige Construction Consultants after the completion of the bridge. Coldwell Banker, the nation's third-largest real estate business, now employs him.
