Erich Meyer

Erich Meyer

My name is Erich Meyer and I am from a very small town called Arnoldsville, Georgia, which is very close to Athens. I grew up on what is left of a family farm. The farm went under in the early eighties and everything that was cotton and soybean fields was replanted in pine trees, so effectively I grew up in a pine stand. Growing up in the environment that I did gave me a great appreciation for the land and all that comes from and with it and taught me the importance of self sufficiency, a quality that I hold very close to me. As far as hobbies go I am an avid trap shooter and travel around the southeast quite frequently for tournaments. As far as school goes I tend to focus very heavily on history, I feel that you can't get a good understanding of where you are or where you are going until you understand where you have come from. I am a very optimistic and social person and I always just try to look on the bright side of every situation. I believe that you should always treat others the way you would want to be treated and I believe that you should always try to live your life humbly and in a kind fashion. I believe that you should always be comfortable with who you are as an individual and never let other's opinions effect who you are, be unique, even if that means being the only person like yourself.
