Eric Jacobson

After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at the University of Michigan, Eric Jacobson went on to earn a Master of Science in Journalism from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management in Kansas City, Missouri.

Eric Jacobson joined Penton Media in 1982 and made a name for himself as key player in the publishing company, rising to the rank of Senior Vice President of Administration before leaving the firm in 2009. Managing Penton Media’s business planning and development departments as the company experienced several mergers and acquisitions, Jacobson oversaw the restructuring of the support departments within the multimedia company.
