Eric J Gruber

My history is a mix of words and code. In my early career, I worked for the news industry as a reporter, doing page layout and eventually become a page editor for small newspapers in northeast Kansas.

Eventually, my interest moved toward the web, which I have been ever since. I work a lot with Drupal, and have published two books with O'Reilly Media: Coding with Coda and Learning Rails 3. I dabble with Ruby a bit, but don't do it consistenly enough to be competent. I'm working to change that.

And becasue life is more than just work, I have a wife, two beautiful daughters, and a motorcyle that never seems to get ridden enough.
