Erick Nieto

Currently learning the ropes in order to become a web developer. While here in Toronto, I continue to follow my hobbies of tasting coffees and teas, weight lifting, listening to podcasts, and exploring the city.

I am learning web development in Toronto at Bitmaker Labs. It is tons of fun, full of challenges, and is one of my first outlets to be creative and productive outside of academia. I am learning Ruby on Rails, Javascript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, SQL.

I am still a real newbie when it comes to teas and coffees. When I have the time and taste, I go and check out small shops. Let me know if you have a recommendations, I hope to try it out soon.

Growing up in the city of Scottsdale, Arizona. I was more of a geeky kid than anything, playing tons of video games and reading comic strip collections. It was a ton of fun ( I still do those things today), but I became enthusiastic about health and muscle performance sometime in high school. Being the student that I am, I did most of the reading without any of the "doing." I joined the wrestling team in my junior year of high school, but I could not continue my senior year due to college classes. I hope that I can one day incorporate my weight lifting with some sort of sport where I can test my mental and physical form.

I love listening to podcasts. I have been doing it for three years now. I have gone through many, but the one that has stuck is The Joe Rogan Experience. If you are a fan as well, we should totally be friends.
