Ericka Kelly Bio

Ericka Kelly is an accomplished podcaster, voice-over artist, consultant, program manager, and educator with 20 years of career experience. Ericka earned a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northeast Louisiana University. Ericka is currently completing a Doctoral Studies in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Ericka’s versatility and professionalism are hallmarks of her career.

As a senior program manager for the non-profit agency Renewal, Inc., Ericka supported and helped manage over $1.4 million in grant funds from various donors and agencies. She worked diligently at the grass-roots level to help individuals and families in Northeast Louisiana attain their dreams of owning their businesses. As an entrepreneurship trainer and coach, she helped to create over 300 new start-ups in the region and provided over $400,000 in grants and direct funding to those individuals. She also managed a Microenterprise Loan Fund, which provided low-interest loans to local entrepreneurs.

In the field of education, Ericka has over 16 years of experience working with children in various capacities. As a youth leader, Ericka has worked as a trainer and facilitator of various youth leadership programs. While working as an elementary school teacher for the last 13 years, Ericka provided exceptional learning environments for her students. In 2017, Ericka was named as an elementary school Teacher of the Year and received a $500 Junior League Mini-Grant for Education.

Ericka was a member of a local chapter of the public speaking organization Toastmasters International for over 11 years. In the creative space, Ericka hosts a podcast entitled “5 Questions with Dr. K!” She has also done voice-over work for local agencies, including TV and radio ads. Ericka earned a coveted spot in the film “Cowboy & Indiana” produced by Rodney Ray.
