Eric Kleiner

Eric Kleiner embodies the values of service, leadership, and generosity. His active involvement in Tenafly Youth Basketball has positively shaped the lives of hundreds of children, including those with special needs. As co-chair of the Play Fore the Kids Golf Classic, Eric helped raise over $2 million for programs supporting children with autism and disabilities. His philanthropic reach also spans to the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades and the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, furthering health and education causes.

In addition to his work with sports, Eric has strongly supported the Kaplen Jewish Community Center, where he has helped facilitate programs that serve children, families, and seniors. His commitment has ensured that the center remains a vital community resource. He has also supported the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey, contributing to initiatives that provide essential services to local communities. Furthermore, his advocacy for the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation highlights his dedication to improving the lives of people affected by diabetes, as he has worked to raise funds for research and treatment.

One of Kleiner’s most rewarding accomplishments is his involvement in establishing the Challenger Program within Tenafly Youth Basketball. This program allows children with special needs to participate in organized basketball, gaining confidence and developing life skills. His leadership and advocacy have made the program a significant part of the community, helping children experience the benefits of sports.

Outside of his philanthropic efforts, he enjoys attending live music events and finding joy in connecting with others through music. However, his most significant source of support and inspiration comes from his family, who remain his top priority.
