Eric spent most of his childhood in Michigan, where he became an Eagle Scout and graduated with high honors. He competed in track, skiing, golf and public speaking. He received many state-wide awards in speaking competitions for extemporaneous speech.

Eric attended the University of Colorado at Boulder. He earned a Bachelor's degree in accounting and a Master's Degree specializing in finance. Eric's academic training also includes extensive work with the research of several Nobel-prize winning economists.

For over 30 years, Eric's career was exclusively focused on the unique investment and financial needs of high-net-worth families. Eric was the original President and Founder of a wealth management firm known as The Milestone Group. Throughout his 20+ years of leading Milestone, Eric was devoutly committed to the highest fiduciary standards and the best interests of his clients.

In 2018, Eric formed a family office to honor the financial and philanthropic dreams of his family. As he vigorously pursues these dreams, Eric combines his passion for investment research, risk management, socially responsible investing and philanthropy that honors God. Eric also contributes to the boards of WaterStone, the Alliance for Choice in Education, the Colorado Council for Economic Education, and Colorado UpLift (a unique mentoring organization for at-risk youth).
