While serving as executive chef of the North End Grill in New York City from 2014 to 2017, Eric Korsh led the restaurant to a prestigious 2-star rating from the New York Times. His work at North End Grill also attracted the attention of the Food Network, Bloomberg News, and the New York online magazine Grub Street. Eric Korsh previously secured a single star from The New York Times and a highly favorable review from the New Yorker as owner and chef of New York City’s Calliope. New York Times food critic Pete Wells ranked Calliope among the “12 Restaurant Triumphs of 2012.”
In the late 2000s, Eric Korsh owned and operated Restaurant Eloise in the Santa Rosa suburb of Sebastopol, California. San Francisco Magazine honored his work at Eloise with a 2009 Rising Star award. A food-focused sister website of the San Francisco Chronicle, SFGATE praised Eloise’s devotion to locally sourced ingredients, exceptional use of bread, and well-paired wine list.
