Eric Travis

I am currently employed at Consolidated Communications at the Conroe location as a Network Tools & Automation Engineer.

A little over 3 years ago my family and I moved to Spring/The Woodlands area from beautiful Red Wing, MN which is located on the Mississippi river in Southeast Minnesota. We now reside in Montgomery, TX.

For the first 3 years of living in Texas I was employed at Champion Life Centre, a church in Spring, TX. While a member of the staff there, I was able to upgrade their network infrastructure to a gigabit network, obtain high speed internet, deploy an open mesh WiFi environment, as well as administering the office network with file sharing, shared printing, email, etc.

My official title was Technical Media Director, which included oversight of the technical aspects of our Sunday Service & special productions. My major accomplishments in this position included wiring and installation of HD projectors, HD switching, and HD live streaming. I was also instrumental in expanding our creative content offerings through video recording and editing.

Expanding the web and social media presence was also a key responsibility, and I placed a heavy emphasis on being consistent in each area of our digital presence.

One of the additional responsibilities I was able to take on was that of Life Group Director. During the first half of 2014 I was responsible for developing a selection, recruitment, and training process to train and equip Life Group or Small Group leaders/facilitators. I also provided oversight to several leaders and their wives who were designated Small Group Coaches.

My previous experience includes 5 years of Self-Employment as an IT consultant, as well as 7 years working for the Target Corporation in stores as a Senior Team Leader.
