For nearly 30 years Eric Marsh, Sr has been a father, a mentor, and a community advocate. A Community Engagement professional whose work has been nationally recognized, Eric has led engagement and outreach initiatives in local government, public health and public media.

Eric is an advocate for healthy families and a champion for Black men and boys, and promotes the importance of healthy fatherhood practices. He has served as a Board member for organizations such as NAMEN (North American Men Engage), The Men's Center for Growth and Change, MBK Cares and others. He currently serves as the Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Fathering Circle, a 501c3 peer support organization for fathers and father figures.

Eric is also an experienced group facilitator, having led youth and adult group sessions on ending IPV, bullying and gun violence prevention as well as healthy parenting practices, child development, and African-centered Rites of Passage for youth. A seasoned public speaker, he has given keynotes and presentations on the importance of civic engagement, equitable parenting practices, fatherhood as a catalyst for change and several other topics.

The former Manager of the Community and Engagement team for WHYY News (Philadelphia's PBS and NPR affiliate station), Eric is currently the Director of Operations for the Philadelphia Center for Gun Violence Prevention, a journalism support organization that supports journalist in creating more ethical, empathetic and impactful reporting on gun violence and the communities it impacts.
