Combinations can lead to great things.

You can sometimes obtain solutions for the hardest problems by simply being well travelled enough in other solution spaces.

Hence eclectic and peripatetic.

A big insight I had into transport came from my varied wanderings in investment banking, the UK Royal Air Force, computing, hedge funds and transport.

Hence polymathic.

At least I think so.
