Eric Occhipinti

Skydiving, Rock Climbing, and Gymnastics in San Diego, CA

With his deep devotion to change the world for the better; Eric created his own annual 5K run/walk fundraiser to raise awareness on the pandemic issue of childhood obesity.

The relationships Eric has cultivated with other local non-profit organizations such as The Flying Samaritans of UCSD & International Rotary Club enables him to accomplish these goals. Proceeds from the ticket sales aide mothers in impoverished, urban desert communities with one year’s supply of delivered, made to-order, organic baby food provided with educational resources on nutrition.

Recently with his continued partnerships between these organizations, Eric is able to expand his horizons across the border to Mexico. Joining the Flying Samaritans, his duties every fourth Friday are to teach children one hour health & nutrition classes within different Tijuana/Ensenada orphanages. Eric's responsibilities for the Rotary Club are to aide infants born with a cleft lip who are to malnourished to undergo cosmetic surgery. He creates organic purees & baby formulas to elevate the child’s nourishment levels back to the surgical health standards required for a successful cleft procedure. Eric's additional duties are to educate the Mothers & Fathers of these infant children on how to properly create fresh purees & formulas for when he is back in the states.
