Chief Technology Officer, Remark Media

Eric Orme is Chief Technology Officer for Remark Media where he has led large platform initiatives for global media companies, including HowStuffWorks International, Sharecare.com, Dr.Oz.com, and Curiosity.com. Currently, his expertise is focused on the Remark Media suite of services and proprietary properties and platforms. His experience extends into China and Brazil, where he launched HowStuffWorks.com to international audiences and navigated the localization of the brand's content and technology. Eric oversees product, editorial, technology, and design.

Prior to joining Remark Media when it started in 2007, he worked for Ashworth University where he ran operations and development. Under his vision, his team moved all of the company's educational content to the web and created tools for effective communication among teachers and their student communities. He also pioneered technology at Web.com and Georgia-Pacific.
