Eric Emmanuel Pasion

Eric Pasion is a lawyer by profession. He graduated from the University of the Philippines, Diliman (UP Diliman) with a degree in Psychology. He went on to the same University to complete his Juris Doctor. He is both a litigator who appears before courts, agencies and administrative officers, and a corporate lawyer who drafts and reviews contracts, helps individuals set-up their businesses, assists in incorporation and registration with regulatory agencies in the Philippines, and gives general legal advise.
While he was an active member of his college student council in the mid-2000’s, he also engaged in other socio-civic activities and founded UP Gawad Kalinga, the student arm of the larger international non-profit of the same name.
In 2009, Eric was engaged as a community development officer for the Ninoy & Cory Aquino Foundation (formerly Benigno S. Aquino, Jr. Foundation, “BSAF”) and was involved in advocating modern day heroism through active social involvement through the "iamNinoy" campaign.
Eric is currently “running” Run for Change, a non-profit organization that is utilized as a platform for advocacy and fundraising. Through Run for Change, Eric is able to connect various organizations, institutions, and other entities with individuals who are interested and want to be engaged in various programs, projects and initiatives. Eric uses road races, fun runs, and other athletic endeavors to engage the general public, most especially the youth.
In 2012, Eric was nominated to be part of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative under the World Economic Forum. He was designated as the Secretary of the Manila Hub. He also attended the World Economic Forum on East East held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, representing the Manila Hub as part of the 26 person delagation of the Global Shapers Community.
Eric strengths are mainly in operations, people and event management, as well as youth engagement. On a lighter note, he loves food, cooking, entertaining friends or guests who visit the Philippines and takes them to see various destinations, watching movies in his free time, and keeping himself updated with the latest advancements in technology.
