Eric Putz
IT, Editor, and Digital Archivist in Franklin, TN
Here it is. My work life in a nutshell.
Well, I started my first career in Post Production, in glamorous Hollywood, California. I spent sixteen plus years as a Colorist, making Hollywood look great. In 2009 my life changed. My wife and I introduced our son to the world and we became a family. However, it was in 2012, when I was asked to assist on a project for a childhood idol of mine, Governor Schwarzenegger. That project led to a new career as a Digital Archivist, Editor, and IT support at Oak Productions.
But alas, after seven-plus years at Oak Productions, the family decided to look for a change of pace. We wanted to find a place where family came first. And hopefully, a place where we didn’t spend three or more hours in traffic every day. That place was Franklin, Tennessee.
Who knew I’d move 1700 miles across the country to Tennessee, only to take a job working at Evercast. Once again working in post, based out of Arizona. Such a strange world we live in.
