I studied radiologic technology at Miami Dade college thru 2003 and thru it took common engineering prerequisites for a transfer degree in engineering. Currently missing 2 semesters in calculus based physics to obtain an Associates of arts in engineering and begin upper division work on a bachelor's of science. I've been away from student life for a few years. And am currently reviewing and arranging things for a successful return to academic work.
While studying and starting work as a registered radiographer I experienced the miracle of falling in love and starting a family. An experience I wouldn't trade for anything. But was personally unprepared to continue both my education and start a family. I'm the proud father of a son who's in his mother's image and a daughter who is like a little me, I imagine I've gone back in time and am seeing myself live, learn and love, an awesome, magical joy that just is. But it has taken me away from another love, a life long fascination with technology and science. To this I am learning how to return, and maybe switch careers from one which sustains to one that I enjoy. The real challenge is balancing this mission with the most important job I'll ever have - educating my children.
I'm interested in computer science, controls, robotics, aerospace, human spaceflight, exploration and the benefits of these to the future of human civilization.
