In 2002, I contracted flesh eating disease, almost losing my leg and life. In that same year, my mother suffered slipped discs in her neck and back, followed by breaking a bone in her back and having open back surgery.

While these issues were identified and treated by physicians what bothered me was the lack of information and monitoring available for a family member who suffered from epileptic seizures at that same time. I have always wanted to help my family and others take control of their health, and began thinking of ways when I began programing. My vision for Neutun is to make data collection for health care easy and actionable.
