What happens when nothing is in charge?
That's the question behind my work. On one side, I harden AI models, secure distributed networks, and defend autonomous systems from attack. On the other, I study who actually holds power when no one obviously does — research on celebrity board directors and decentralized crypto markets that makes one core argument: good code isn't enough. Incentives and control matter just as much as encryption.
I chase risk wherever institutional oversight is thin — AI, decentralized networks, ungoverned markets — because that's where the interesting problems live.
