We are witnessing a crisis in the reading culture in Vietnam. Young people read less and less, resulting in disastrous effects on both individual and the overall development of a country. However, this is a silent and almost invisible catastrophe, as most people are not aware of how destructive it can be. This project examines the reasons behind the downfall of reading culture amongst young people in Vietnam nowadays and proposes a long-term response to the disaster.
