M. Erik Clark is the Managing Partner of Borowitz & Clark, LLP, Southern California leading consumer bankruptcy law firm. During his career, Mr. Clark has represented thousands of clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.

Mr. Clark graduated from SUNY College at Purchase and received a J.D. from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT in 1994. Same year he became a member of the State Bar in Connecticut, and a member of the State Bar in New York the following year. Mr. Clark was admitted in the State Bar in California in 1997. Mr. Clark is Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Clark is an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, CA and has recently served as the President of the National Consumer Bankruptcy Litigation Center and the American Consumer Bankruptcy College.
He is a Charter Member of the Central District Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Association. In addition, he is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the National Association of Consumer Advocates, the American Bankruptcy Institute and a 2013 recipient of NACBA's Distinguished Service Award.
Mr. Clark has been a panelist at the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges, the Annual Convention of the National Association of Chapter Thirteen Trustees as well as the Annual NACBA Convention and other bankruptcy related seminars throughout the country.
