Erik Ritter earned his MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and regularly shows his assemblage artwork throughout the midwest. After a successful exhibition of his work in 2013, the South Dakota Art Museum purchased his piece “Bird of Time” for their permanent collection. He regularly facilitates “DeJunked Art” team building workshops for local elementary schools, public art centers, and corporations. Ritter has taught general education courses for the past seven years at several colleges and universities, and has developed curriculum as a subject matter expert for three online digital design courses.
