Erik Smith

Hey!

My name is Erik.

I'm an Apostolic Pentecostal, and I should probably let you know right now before anything that God and his kindgom is the most importatnt part of my life.

I grew up in a small town called Malakoff, I lived with my mother and my uncle. I never knew my real father; my uncle was the only father figure I had.

I was a big kid, ever since I can remember I was overweight. I always had a problem overeating. I could never control my hunger, which led to me being obese from a early age. I can remember being unable to do the things my classmates were doing because of my weight. I remember every ridicule, every remark that was made toward my weight and the pain it caused me.

I became depressed at 12 and began doing very stupid things. I started using drugs and drinking by age 15 and nearly threw my life away chasing an inconsequental aspiration.

he saved me at the age of 16, filled me with the Holy Spirit and changed my life forever. I now share this experience with many amazing people that God has placed in my life, especially my Pastor and my family.

I am now a preacher of the Gospel and a future Texas Bible College student. I'm a lover of math, chemistry, and physical science and I have a deep love for biochemistry and biology. But most of all, I have a love for seeing a move of God and revival

Over the span of two years, I've lost a total of 141 pounds due to counting macronutruients and exercise. I was only able to overcome my overeating by God's help, willpower and pure determination. As of right now I'm at 240lb with a goal of 195lb.
