Creating software that has utility but is also usable requires design with the end-user in mind, iterative development, and rigorous evaluation. My research addresses these phases with theory-driven design, usability inspection, and human subjects experiments.

I'm a Ph.D. candidate at the University of California, Irvine in the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences with a concentration in the field of Informatics. I graduate with my doctorate on November 9, 2012 (!)
