Erik Stenson
I am a native Bostonian, born of Irish and Italian parents. Growing up was quite an adventure! The Mazzola side of the family were bread bakers and the Stenson side were finish carpenters.
Baking and food industry became my passion from the moment I set foot in Mazzola Brothers Bakery. I learned the baking industry inside out from production and packaging to engineering, logistics and customer service. Delivering bread to small businesses in the Boston area was an amazing experience!
After the baking/food industry I joined the USCG to focus on engineering. After eight years I returned to the baking/food industry where I designed two of my own bakery/restaurants. Ten years later I began work on LocalCiao.com, a website to better serve the food industry.
