Former Field Representative and Campaign Manager Erik Taylor has had an extremely successful run as Fundraising Director for the Democratic Party and as a self-employed Fundraising Consultant over the last few years. With his attention-to-detail, hard-work, and strong network of local elected leaders and stakeholders, he has been instrumental to the election of several Democrats as well as the expansion of party resources. More specifically, he quadrupled funds raised through member-to-member communications from $40,000 to upwards of $180,000 in less than a year and a half for a biannual capital campaign. He also led to significant cost reductions despite increasing the number of monthly events held by the state’s Democratic Party. Currently, Erik has been transferring his strong interpersonal and varied technical skills to real estate. As a real estate agent, Erik is excited to use his charisma and persistence to solidify the best deals possible for his clients. He has had a passion and genuine enthusiasm for real estate his entire life and looks forward to using his skillset to make a difference. There are several potential pitfalls and challenges when it comes to finding a home, and with his passion for connecting buyers to their ideal homes, Mr. Taylor aims to navigate those difficulties in the house buying and selling processes for families who put their home-owning aspirations in his capable hands. In his spare time, Erik enjoys spending time with his wife and friends and following the sports management and business side of the MLB and NFL. Though his favorite teams are the Los Angeles Angels and Rams, his general interest in sports business keeps him engaged in tracking several teams in both leagues. As the proud son of two teachers, Mr. Taylor is also a strong supporter of educators and education policy. In particular, he likes to support special projects through “DonorsChoose.org,” which allows him to allocate his giving to special projects that directly benefit certain teachers and their classrooms.
