Erika Herrera

I am currently a college student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas majoring in Social Work. I have a passion for helping others. I work for the Nevada System of Higher Education as a student worker and GoToCollege Ambassador for the GoToCollegeNevada.org. Holding this position I've gained knowledge on higher education and working with our youth. Being involved in my community is very close to my heart. The Latino Youth Leadership Conference has given me the experience and desire to work within our community. I am also part of Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. and organization dedicated to service the community with a special emphasis on the Hispanic population.

I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. In my free time I enjoy running, listening to music, and hanging out with my friends. I have a positive attitude and desire to make a change within in my community. One day I hope to make our world a better place.
