Erika Peterson

Bay Area born and raised.

I graduated from San Jose State University with a BS in Marketing. Although I am in Sales Ops at VMware, I am a creative, driven and passionate marketing enthusiast on a journey to find my dream job in Marketing. Currently, I am pursing my Internet Marketing Certification through UC Irvine Extension to learn how to integrate new tactics and strategies as well as advance my career. I am an optimistic, ambitious and detail-oriented team player with a desire to learn and open arms to any challenge.

Also, I commit my personal time as a marketing volunteer for a non-profit, Humane Society Silicon Valley, and a mobile application, Booksmart. When I am able to break away, I learn how to cook with my boyfriend, whether it is a recipe I pinned on Pinterest or experimenting from scratch! I like to think I am a travel bug, especially when it is adventuring to new places inside and outside of the United States. I love dogs, Philz Coffee, iced green tea lattes, gelatto, and anything else that makes my heart smile.
