I am a CEO, nurse, and public speaker at MendUX.com currently living in San Francisco, California. My interests range from education to technology. I am also interested in patient advocacy, alzheimers, and sailing.

I left the bedside after the death of my husband due to complications arising from poor UI with the new EHR system. I spent two years learning to code in three full stacks, apprenticing in UX and finally building a proof of science hardware device the prevents Cognitively impaired patients from wandering.
