Erika Friend

Hi there! My name is Erika Friend and I am a senior at American University pursuing a degree in PR & Strategic Communication. My career goal is to one day work for a huge brand, like Apple or Google and help in creating their brand story. Every brand has a story and I want to be the one to tell it!

How did I figure this out? Lots of internships and international experience. I've interned at an education tech start up, a tech pr agency, an hr software company, and currently, a policy advocacy group. All of these different experiences have helped me to shape my interests. I like going into a professional experience not knowing much about the particular industry/job/etc and immersing myself in it. I pride myself on my diverse professional background.

I'm creative, I'm quick to learn new things, I'm driven. I enjoy a challenge.
