Erika Goodwin

Santa Rosa, California, United States

Erika has been in the nonprofit sector for twelve years working her way up, now a Director of the Northbay Region of medical societies. Including Marin, Mendocino-Lake, Napa, Solano, and Sonoma.

She is a Santa Rosa native. Erika is charged with sales and business development for Leap Solutions. Her professional and personal passions merge in the health care industry. The analytical yet creative approaches she relies on to find solutions for business challenges are the same tools she has brought to many of her own community's health care situations.

She is an active participant of the Sonoma Specialty Access initiative, working to improve access to specialty care for uninsured and underinsured patients in Sonoma County by creating a specialty referral system for uninsured and underinsured patients throughout the county. She is on the board of directors and membership committee of the Sonoma County Alliance, and an active volunteer with the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce, and Petaluma Young Professionals Network. She has been nominated and made the 2012 and 2013 "to watch" list of the North Bay Business Journals’ 40 under 40, and was nominated for volunteer of the year and young professional of the year in 2012 by the Santa Rosa Young Professionals Network. In her free time she is a snow skier, and explores new ways to indulge in her passion for local and state politics, especially health care-related issues.

Erika has a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior and Leadership from University of San Francisco, and a Masters of Nonprofit Administration degree also from University of San Francisco.
