wherever you may be in this small world!

I started this in December 2015 after receiving encouragement from my close friends in Japan and the U.S. to pen my thoughts before it goes away. I often hold onto memories as a way for me to reflect on past me, and then move forward from those experiences.

My interests, thoughts, and observations are so scattered that I had to piece it together in an organized way.

Music and education keeps me alive.

Music, because I grew up listening to my mother playing piano in the house. I played alto and tenor sax since I was 11, and it kept me sane through the weird adolescent times.

Education, because I've been guided by countless teacher figures in my life-- my parents, my brother, my friends, and a handful of my teachers in the public education system. They have influenced my way of thinking and being, and I aim to keep learning and pass on my knowledge with the people around me.
